Livett scored on the 9th minute and French got injured on 29th.
French just didn't bother chasing back on Livett's interception.
He was lied on the floor behind the posts getting treatment on his hamstring after the Livett try, so he clearly felt something. How long he managed after that is pretty irrelevant. I can’t see him as the sort who just wouldn’t bother chasing back, so I guess he had picked something up around that point.
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.
I’d say they’ve been under conditioned if anything. Neither had a full pre season, with Field being rushed back for the first game as we were short of backs.
Keeping my fingers crossed the news on French is better than being rumoured.
Bevan is a terrific player, but i agree that his chances of getting a first-grade gig at full-back in the NRL seem unlikely, they have a great roster over there. So of course I hope he stays. And that the injury isn't as serious as feared.
Marshall, Manfredi (I know he's back), Field, Gildart and now French. Talk about bad luck, poor conditioning, whatever, as a fan (no doubt as one of said players) it's just plain rubbish to deal with.
I actually thought the opposite. We've now got more chance of seeing him here next year.
I posted a few weeks ago about how hard French would find getting as gig as a FB in the NRL. This injury will have only made things even harder for him.
He's got the option (in his favour) of a 2nd year with us. I think he'll take that security and build his worth up with us.
