I don’t think we communicate on anything particularly well. We can joke all we want about ‘we want announcements’ but I’m more concerned with just general communication on many issues. I do agree with some comments I’ve seen on here that says the whole club feels a bit stale at the minute and in need of a new broom sweeping through it. There just seems a real lack of energy, which hasn’t been helped by the covid situation.

As for French, he posted a picture of him in the same type of leg brace Field had on after his op at the weekend. It doesn’t look good and if it’s a similar timeframe to Field then he’s done for this season and his Wigan career may well be done. Fingers crossed that’s not the case.
