When he signed the second year was in his favour so nothing really we can do about it.
We’d be foolish to offer him a new deal now until we see how he recovers.
It’s a tough one though as, if he recovers and plays well the rumours about an NRL return will be circulated straight away.
I think if/whenever Wigan have a player of a high level playing well it’s sadly baggage that’s will always be carried by them, even if their is little truth in it.
