This month's issue of Forty20 includes an article titled "Stay Healthy Start Writing". It explains how writing a novel based on your own life can be a very good way of looking after your mental health. It describes how since starting in 1988, I have written six novels, all set against a strong South Lancashire rugby league background and also three pages of advice to encourage any other rugby league fan try something similar.
