However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

I think we've play better (faster) trhis year with Brad O'Neil at hooker.

I've never liked going in with 4 forwards on the bench - I would go with 1 utility back every time, but that's just me.

Losing Bevan was a blow, but Batty's brainfart killed us.

Really hope we replace Briers - And not just with Tommy. We need an experienced backs & kicking coach.
It's obvious that our biggest improvements came in the seasons where we had Briers and Deacon coaching the attack.

Good luck to Saints tomorrow with their massive injury crisis. They will be lucky to beat Salford.....

Did you have French & Field available last year?

Can’t complain. After last season this year has been magic. Leeds clearly wanted it more last night and had the perfect game plan. I am not going to add comments about selection or certain players but it was very clear where the weaknesses in that team were last night.

Dominant force from 23 lmao ok. Your pack is absolutely terrible and teams have worked out your only game plan of passing it to Jai Field. Did he play tonight?

Mid table at best next season

Lam will be judged on the GF and on next season if/when you come up. Let’s be honest here, you and me could’ve coached your squad to the position you’re in.

Leigh fans seem to be desperate to stick up for Lam with Wigan fans. He was a dreadful coach for Wigan and I mean dreadful but he’s a Wigan legend, so people don’t say that lightly. Maybe the fit was just wrong and he actually is a good coach and as you point out us missing Field and French didn’t help. We had strike though in other seasons via French, Hardaker, Marshall, Hastings etc and it still didn’t work and was dull.

I’ve got nothing but respect for Matty Peet.

If you look where we were at this time last the change is enormous.

I’d have laughed if anyone had suggested we’d be the leagues top try scorers and have a genuine claim to the entertainer tag.

He is gracious and magnanimous in defeat and clearly has the respect of the entire club and probably the rest of the sport.

He’s a young coach who will learn from this year and get better. We have a a fair few young players who will be better next year.

Bring on the World Cup!

So, if you're not winning trophies galore, you then have a terrible coach? A couple of seasons ago you also lost in a grand final to a freakish try in the last minute. I shudder to think what response Peet would've got had you not won the CC. Personally, I think you're being harsh on Lam.

Well let's hope we continue to do well, and hopefully get into Superleague, and get even better.
