Just been announced he’s been promoted to the first team. He any good? Why the late signing?

Edit: so found out replacement for Hanley and is a Winger. Not seen anything of him

A friend of mine who is involved at Wigan told me at the beginning of last season that he was one to watch. He said that Douglas had a couple of injury setbacks but seemed to have had a growth spurt and was looking really good.

Yeh, he is quoted as Kilner-Douglas in Academy match reports.

He has good speed and is a good finisher, takes the ball up well and has developed physically near to the seasons end.

Watched an interview on Wigan TV and he mentioned Waterhead as his junior club.

Not seen anything of the lad but always nice to see juniors promoted.
