As you know, this board is pretty unuseable at the moment. 


I set up a new Hull FC board on Proboards at the end of June, with everyone commenting on how easy it is to use and actually enjoying being on a forum again. I told a Leeds member on here about the one I had set up, and he has set up a Leeds one now. 


If you do wish to set up a Wigan one, then message me - and once it is set up, I can link it in our Hull FC board to create the cross-club chat.

I would certainly sign-up to another board. Right now, this is just too frustrating to use

I've been trying to leave a comment for the last 30 minutes, but after yet again being forcefully logged out, I've spent that time trying to log back in.

This forum is terrible to use. It's so bloated that it takes me 30 seconds just to change the forum topic, and it's not even worth the time because activity has dropped significantly this year due to the forum's performance.
I'd be up for joining another board. The Hull FC proboard looks great—clean layout and running well; I was able to move to the next page of a topic without my browser screaming for mercy!


Does anyone know what happened to wiganwarriorsfans.com? That forum seems to be closed off to anyone who isn't a member, and I can't even create a new account nor log in to my old account. It says you need to contact an admin for login issues, but you can't contact an admin unless you're logged in.

Yes - I have the same issue with wiganwarriorsfans

wiganwarriorsfans works OK for me. They had some issues a while back, and restricted access to non-members. I'm not sure off the top of my head whether that problem was fully resolved. But yes, this site is a bit of a nightmare now.

The problem was solved but I notice that problem is back again today, it was due to the vast number of bots connecting as guests all at once and bringing the site to its knees.


It was easy to get an account.


Real shame that this site is grinding to a halt, oddly this site is worse once you have logged in and the font colours make thread titles impossible to read?

This site has been suffering a slow death for a long, long time.  It used to be a decent place to debate with fans from other teams, now they only show their faces to gloat after a meaningless win.  Funny how they don't seem to be around in October tho?  


Outside of that, the happy clapping clique and ref lovers put the final boot in and drove away anyone who dared to have a differing opinion.  

Yes i tried when it closed itself off the first time a couple of months ago, tried to register an account and it was asking me to confirm via email, but it just wouldn't send me the confirmation email and the re-send confirmation email didn't work either. So my account for over there now seems to be stuck in limbo between registering and confirmation.

As you say too, it says to contact the admin for any issues with the registration issues but doesn't actually give you a way to contact them.


This place is a real mess now and doesn't seem to be getting any better.

It only took around 30 minutes or so to set the Hull FC one up - no real admin duties needed as everyone is getting on, and it so easy to use either on laptop or phone. If someone has 30 minutes to set it up it would be worth it
