Then why get so bitter? They were the better team but they only lost cos we were bad? Give them some credit.

If you're looking for a non-QB MVP then it's got to be Tuck surely?

If either of those two won next year their HoF stock would rise significantly but what happens if neither wins the big one again? Does Brady become the QB whose legacy is he played in a successful team that bent the rules to win? Does Manning become just a statistically better version of Favre? And what about Eli Manning? He doesn't have half the career of either of those yet he has two MVP awards on the back of two incredible play off runs so where does he go? You can't say until you've seen their entire volume of work. Simples.

Strange how your opinion has changed. You had already decided r.e Eli a few weeks ago. You've watched the game for years and should know that what Eli Manning has done in the playoffs has NEVER been done before. I just wish people would give him the credit he deserves on this forum. I don't know if the bitterness stems from his draft day trade. Will go down as the greatest QB at one of the NFL's premier franchises. Most playoff wins on the road. Still only 30 years old as well. Still a couple of notches behind Brady, Bradshaw, Montana, Unitas and co, but definitely top 5 at the minutes. Alot of people put too much of an emphasis on numbers, Eli like Elway has an inner drive and desire to win that you can't teach. If you look at Brady and Peyton, compare how thier teams did when they both missed a season, that tell's me who is the better QB.

Like if the Patriots won it would have gone to Brady when Woodhead & Hernandez were clearly better (as were Sterling Moore & Brandon Spikes)

10-14 118 yards in the 4th quarter. That's why he won it. The most clutch QB in the nfl. I find your bitterness very amusing. 7 4th quarter comebacks. I think the patriots are lucky that Eli wasn't around for the pats 1st two superbowls. would have stopped you winning them as well. You're acting almost as bad as your coach. Man up.

Not usually no but he deserves his last big pay day but not sure we will give him what he wants so franchising him is a good option until we come to some sort of agreement, it also wouldn't suprise me if we let him go because we are not well known for paying the big bucks let's face it. If that does happen it will be the biggest mistake we have ever made, all he does is catch passes and get 1st downs! We already need a deep threat WR and if we have to find another Welker type player we will be struggling.

I'm obviously assuming he wants big money with it being possibly his last deal, he might be easier to re-sign than I thought...

Didn't realise I was that close to the leader, I took a bit of a risk and picked the Giants and Pats to get to the SB a few weeks ago and just kept players from both teams in. Nearly worked aswell
