Been away so not paid much attention to the start of the season, but reading back now and I've lost respect for a man as quickly as I have for Moyes. His big mantra at Everton was having class. He would never talk about a player who played for another club and would refuse to answer questions about players Everton had bid for, out of respect for the clubs in question.
Now, he's moved to United and seems to have forgotten all about his way of doing things. His pursuit of Fabregas was annoying and that was a supporter of a club not involved, I can't imagine how annoying his persistence was to Barca. His lack of class in his dealings with Everton is just incredible. The hypocrisy is ridiculous and I can't believe the press haven't jumped all over it. He may well be a puppet and someone else may be handling the bids at United, but to come out and publicly declare his interest then put in successive low-ball bids designed to unsettle the players is shocking. He's doing exactly what City did over Lescott which annoyed him so much and made him hate them.
I think the pressure could quickly show if United lose to Chelsea. His inability to sign anyone must be annoying the United fans and the board and from his behaviour so far it seems he's already feeling it. The lack of foot stamping from Baines, Fellaini and Fabregas can't have gone unnoticed in the boardroom at United either.
