Superb performance from the British trio...and it was yr mate who drove them to get the lead back just after halfway too!! And she looked made up on the podium, good on her!! Let's hope she's got plenty left for the scratch race today.

David Daniell goes today in the mens 1km time trial - another hugely talented young rider...the Mens Team Pursuit today too with a younger squad than ever before...and Jess Varnish and Vicky Pendleton start off in the Womens Sprint today too...should be another excellent day.

She is indeed.

She ended up with a gold, silver in the scratch and bronze in the points. That was after a pretty heavy crash in the scratch with 8 laps to go, which left her with numb feeling in her fingers, painful wrist and bruised leg.
