I think it's mostly rumours TBH but it still gets on my tits. They still have players like Sneijder, Robben, Higuain, Drenthe, Diarra, Gago and Guti who all play in either midfield or an attacking role.

Wouldn't go that far. Zlatan is a class act.
It's not 100% that Eto'o is going, but from what I've heard Eto'o is demanding a massive wage and Barça aren't prepared to break their wage structure.
As I've said before, it looks to me like he's had his head turned by a huge offer from elsewhere... City?

Think Barça are using their brains here by getting Zlatan in for Eto'o (swap talk has come out in the last half hour).
He's out of contract next season and €15m was mentioned.
How much would Zlatan cost on the open market?

if barca are trying to to sign ibrihimovic then i would see that as a sign barca are resigned to losing eto'o to city.

havent zseen anything from ibrihimovic to see why barca would want him only saw him the two times when he played man utd but he looked out of his class when playing utd. might do good in spanish league though you never know.

For those that watch European football on a regular basis, what is your opinion on Benzema?

I've only seen him a few times and he has looked fairly decent, but not seen enough to decide whether or not he'd make it in England.

he might be a good player but in the same quality as eto'o i just dont think he is.
