Well that's his place booked on the plane to Australia then. One good knock in every six is clearly the standard the selectors have set themselves.

That's the way it's been for the likes of Bell, Strauss, Collingwood in the past so why not Cook???

And would you honestly pick Lyth on the back of just one good season? Surely a Lions Tour would be perfect for him?

Anyone watch the highlights on Five? Cooks interview at the end was brilliant. I was in absolute stiches when his voice went high and he said 'I dont know why my voice did that' hahahaha. Doubled over laughing.

Pak 36-1 (5 overs) chasing 148 to win.

Looks like they are going to try and blast their way to victory, lost an early wicket but the conditions are good for batting, should be a reletively easy run chase.
