An Evertonian talking about owners, you must have taken your brave pills last night
At least Bill knows his football or should I say soccer
Anyway haven't you got shopping to be doing?

I watched it up to the Cavani equaliser. I know the result so I'll leave you to enjoy. Cavani or Llorente would have been preferred over Carroll, can't imagine why we never went for either.
Because they'd probably have wanted to move to a big club
Biggest thing Liverpool can take from yesterday is the fact that Adam didn't get a straight red for the offence he got his 2nd yellow for. Was a nasty challenge. Phil Jones is immense, what a great buy. Chelsea were good yesterday, and but for THAT miss may have gone on to get a very credible point. Shame about City though

Are you serious? Watch it again, eyes on the ball at all times and there is no way he could of knew Parker was there, he stuck his leg out to win the ball. He made contact though, so it was a foul but never a yellow for me.
Skrtel's on the other hand, can't argue with both bookings. Bale had him shaken all game, such a pity we haven't got a fit right back available.

Not a yellow? Take off the tinted specs, he caught Parker on his knee! he was nowhere near the ball, it was a terrible challenge. If he's going for the ball I don't see how he wouldn't have known Parker was there, when you go in studs first on someone's knee it's a yellow at the very least.
Great start to the season. Read somewhere this weekend that it's United's best start to a season for 26 years. 2 points ahead of City, 5 ahead of Chelsea, 9 on Spurs & a massive 11 more than Arsenal. Torres' miss was horrendous but he took his goal really well. How Ashley Cole escaped a straight red for that lunge at Hernandez is beyond me. At the very least it should have been a penalty.

I haven't watched the 2nd half yet. Was having too bad a day to put myself through watching another half after that first half.
But I'm guessing that Cole has the same immunity that Rooney does.
I did read that the ref said it couldn't be a pen because the ball had gone out of play. But that would surely mean it was even more of a red card offence if the ball wasn't even in play. I guess I might have to steel myself for watching the 2nd half to see the rest of the incidents.

The tinted specs are off mate. What I'm saying is, there is no intention, he never went into hurt Parker, infact Adam didn't no he was there, the studs were up because he was obviously stretching and needed to divert the ball away. Like I said, a foul but not a yellow for me. Not sure if I can post this, so apologies if I can't. It's a poor recording but how can you say he knows Parker is there, he's blatantly going for the ball - clicky.

It's irrelevant whether there was intention or not, Adam has missed the ball and his studs have made contact with Parker's knee making it a reckless challenge.

He isn't looking at the man I'll give you but it's a very clumsy tackle. His stoods are up and he could've done some serious damage to Parker. It's a yellow all day for me, I don't think there's a ref in the game that wouldn't produce a yellow card for that it's wreckless.
As Ash says it's irrelevant if there's intent or not, it's a dangerous tackle and therefore a yellow card.
