Cahill's booking harsh? COBBLERS. Lescott made a monkey out of him. He's obiously 'a little vexed', so he went in, studs showing on Kompany. Please explain how that's harsh.
Cahill deserved his yellow card....He lost control of the ball, and went in recklessly, however, he was at least going for the ball.
Kompany, however, should have received a straight red card for his assault on Cahill's ankle.....No going after the ball in that fellow's mind, pure and simple, he went to do a job on Cahill, and did the job well.....Yes, he may have been 'guarding' the ball, but the way he brought down his boot, there is no doubt he sought to do damage.
It was quite reminiscent of the Fellaini/Krygiarkos challange a few years back, which saw Feillaini stretchered off and the Greek lad sent off....Fellaini should have been dismissed in that one, as he went in to do damage there .
You've written some whoppers over the years on here, Saddo, but this one get's you a gold star. Silva playacting? He's had someone's studs down the back of his calf/achilles, what do you want him to do? Diving when there's no-one near him.....when? Phil Neville clipping Silva's heels, when the ball is NOWHERE near them....Webb got that spot on. It was premeditated...booking, end-of. Cahill's booking harsh? COBBLERS. Lescott made a monkey out of him. He's obiously 'a little vexed', so he went in, studs showing on Kompany. Please explain how that's harsh.
Once Cahill left the floor it was always going to be booking, fair enough but Kompany clearly stands on Cahill as he goes in so that should be at least a booking too. Has to be. He stamps on his ankle, I think you need to look at the Lescott thing again, he doesn't make a monkey out of him, he loses the ball himself and it hits both his ankles before megging himself. If he had half a brain he'd have picked out a pass going forward than playing a short pass back to Kompany.
Neville's premeditated Silva turns to to make his run and Neville turns to go with him and they clip heels, nothing in it. The fact Silva went down rolling around was embarrassing.

The only thing Webb messed up on, was (as you correctly pointed out), was Kompany's block on Saha.
It was embarrassing that he missed it, he had a clear view on it about 8 yards away and he waves it away he's clearly chose to ignore it. It's as clear a foul you'll see.

If you want to watch the match again for the Everton highlights, just fast forward to the 55th minute when you got three corners in a minute . Well, that and watching your bank of eight defenders, every time City had the ball within 30 yards of Everton's goal.
What else should we do? walk into one the leading PL sides ground and leave ourselves open to attack and probably concede 4 or 5 goals? Don't be an idiot.
Your first two paragraphs are total cobblers. Don't try and turn round, basic foul play....and Kompany was falling
Your 3rd (re the Saha foul) I'm agreeing with you. Why are your knickers in a twist? It was a foul which Webbshould have picked up on
Your fourth...I was merely pointing out what City got LAMBASTED for in ONE GAME (Arsenal away) last season, yet the media have crucified City ever since. Hardly idiotic....HTH Strewth, don't cross Dan_FC when it's the wrong week Sorry if I've got an opinion of my own

.....Falling????.....More like going down, so as to hide the fact he'd just deliberately stamped on Cahill's leg.
Admittedly, Cahill's challenge was reckless, clumsy and probably the result of a building frustration at being unable to get into the game, but Kompany was undoubtedly looking to hurt, before being hurt himself.
It was a proper, cynical professional foul, carried out perfectly.....The fact Cahill gets a yellow and is left injured, while Kompany gets off scot-free, is ample proof of this.....Howard Webb will be rather embarrassed at being duped so easily....

I've got nothing in a twist, I wasn't having a go at you re the Saha foul. I'm just saying Webb's positioning he should've picked up on it. Also, I don't believe it is cobblers, Neville and Silva both turn to run and there's heels clipped there was no need for the dramatics from Silva.
Kompany wasn't falling at all, he sees Cahill and knows what's coming so he stands on his ankle. As I said as soon as Cahill leaves the ground it's a booking but Kompany should've been booked, at least, too.

Maybe you were lambasted because people thought you had enough ability in your squad to play a different way. We had to go and try to stop you playing because so many teams have been ripped apart by the brilliant football City have been playing this season. We don't have enough quality to go to your place and have an open game of football, we'd have been destroyed on the scoreboard.
I don't get you last bit, I'm not having a go at you, I've got an opinion too and that's all I've said mate. You're the one shouting in you posts.
