Any player who openly selects his favourites in public (not to mention rate the skill level - or lack thereof - of his team mates) is a dead man walking. Heaven knows what Gerrard, Lennon and co. think of Terry's opinion that they are not as skilful as Cole or Rooney.

All this "I must speak my mind" stuff is pure guff. Would Terry have picked Mourinho's team or graded the abilities of Ancelloti's or Hiddink's Chelsea team? No.

If the players think Capello is a prat they'd have sided with Terry.

Mourinho = 2 titles, 2 league cups, FA Cup. Ancelotti = Double. Hiddink - Championship winning form and FA Cup final.

I think JT's completely and utterly wrong when he suggests Joe Cole as someone who England need. I think Cole will be as ineffectual for England as he was nearly every time when playing for Chelsea this season. But England obviously need something to change, and change quickly, or they'll be coming home in disgrace this week.

Or the England players are just as gutless when faced with Capello as they were when faced with the mighty USA and Algeria.
