I'm just glad Shankly didn't have big money backers when he was in charge of Liverpool. I'm glad Shankly had massive success at the other sides he managed.

If a supporter has done that, I think he's a div. I'm glad we have Torres because he has shown himself to be an immense striker, but he hasn't done **** for us yet. If Torres performs for us the way he has over his LFC career I'll be a huge supporter, but he hasn't done a thing for us. He could end up being an even more expensive, even more disappointing version of Sheva.

Is that really meant to be the Shankly gates? If it is it's a very poor reproduction of them. Looks nothing like the picture to the side.

Money buy no history is very poor grammar. Money can't buy history. Would have been a far better way of wording it. Liverpool fans seems to refer to history a lot, don't understand why really. Means very little in todays game.

Yes, the results have improved, but the performances aren't that much better, except for the fact that the team are now playing with a tenacity that was lacking under Hodgson, who the players, disgracefully, wouldn't perform for.

I think with the added confidence from the recent upturn in results, Liverpool should finish top6, but the true test for King Kenny will be in the long term and whether he can continue to grind out results with this average group of players or whether he and Commoli can show good judgement in the transfer market and progress from there.

Agree. They don't look that much better but they've had a bit more luck and the fans are giving the manager a chance so the pressure's off a bit. Makes a huge difference for results.
