| Quote ST_CONROY="ST_CONROY"Charles Woodson has been given a contract extension with us to 2014. Apparently he will earn $55 million over the 5 years.
Obviously waiting for Revis to sign before we tied down the best CB in the NFL.'"
When did Asomugha and Revis retire? I must have missed that?

Leads the league in INT's for the past two years with 16. 3 more than second, who is also a Packer, Nick Collins.
Oh, and Defensive Player of the Year votes: Woodson 28. Revis 14. Asomugha 0.
Just watched my recording of the game last night (i couldn't be bothered staying up when i found out there was 1 hour 30 of build up). The Sky pre-game stuff was truly terrible and a lot of it wasn't even relevant to the game happening. Also the game itself was abit of a let down, I was hoping for much more explosive offence but it is clear that Favre has no cohesion. Glad Pierre got going in the second half with me having him in fantasy world, I was so annoyed at half time!

That award is for best defensive player? As an out an out shutdown corner the others mickey allover him. That's the general opinion around the NFL anyhow. The reason the others don't have as many picks is due to how many times they're thrown at.

CB's play on the defense don't they? Therefore C-Wood is the best CB and defender.
Where is this "general opinion" from, if you'd provide articles i'll review them! Other than Rex running his mouth i've never heard any complaints about Woodson beating Revis.
Thrown at is a fallacy also, especially for Revis. Thrown at: Aso 28, Revis 111, Woodson 76.

I was a bit disapointed too after the opening drive by the Saints I thought we were going to be in for a boat load of points, and the way AP started off I was looking forward to quite a few fantasy points from him too
