OK, i'll bite.
This from a supporter of a club who used to be named differently, and used to play miles down the road? I ended up a Man Utd fan because back in 90/91 (pre PL, notice), my mum's fella was from Manchester, and a Utd fan, and i would watch the occasional televised match with him. Now, i go when i can (which isn't often, as my wages are sh*t). I did also used to go and watch my local team (who now don't exist) when pocket money allowed it (fresh prince will vouch for that). There can be no arguement that the emergence of the Premier League, and Sky giving the opportunity to watch the most successful teams on a weekly basi, has had an adverse effect on clubs below the PL, but your mud-slinging is just a wee bit desperate.

Last I heard Darlington weren't technically bust anyway and were furiously trying to offload their white elephant of a stadium while dropping down the leagues although that was a while ago... I was at Diamonds' last ever game there coincidentally and lo and behold the ****s in Man. Utd shirts were crammed into the town centre before the game there while their local club were dying...
