Very impressed by Norwich but that Pilkington lad really should have buried it when he was through one on one with Lindegaard. A well below par performance but still getting the three points and a clean sheet is the sign of a champion side.

What a job Pardew is doing ay Newcastle. Got them oplaying great attacking football and sound at the back. Also done some great business in the transfer market. Stung LFC for £35 million for the new Michael Ricketts and have a strikeforce in Ba and Best that cost about a months of Carols wages.

Over-the-moon with how things are going so far. Early days this season but who knows, that Carling Cup (and ending of trophy drought - excluding the Championship trophy) might finally happen. Although I'm not totally ruling out the FA Cup, IMO the Carling Cup is the only realistic hope these days for a club like Newcastle unfortunately.

Let's see where Newcastle finish at the end of the season. They were lucky yesterday. Wolves should have had a penalty and they had a clear goal disallowed.

Exactly mate, it's embarrassing isn't it? I still can't see what he sees to think it's worthy of a straight red, he doesn't even touch Suarez until the ball's gone and the tackle is complete. Although his reaction was almost as embarrasing as Atkinson's decision.

However neither were as embarrasing as Baines' and Distin's comedy defending.
