The hype has little to do with Ashton and more to do with the fact that Tuilagi wasn't given his marching orders at the time of the incident, in a game which Leicester went on to win.

Still, if it helps you to take a pop at a former rugby league player now fulfilling his potential in a way he would never have done had he stayed at Wigan, go for it.
Because of his awful defence, poor positioning and lack of vision?

I've never seen such scenes of distress on my cycle ride into Leeds this morning. Lietrally thousands of families out on the street wailing & gnashing teeth. Truly heartbreaking.

Yeah the way Ashton treated his former club with utter contempt and the game itself stuff him,w@nker of the highest order who happens to be a so called superstar,I wish Tuilagi had hit him harder.

Leinster by 5 and Stade Francais by 3 for me this weekend.
I had Leinster pre-season so fingers crossed.

From Hull and now trying to spread the RL word in Liverpool, and failing dismally.

I'm sure they are. I was just curious as to what their reputation is like. If it's one of the more hostile grounds or if it has a traditional feel to it. I've nothing against Salford, but obviously, growing up in South Manchester I'm aware of Salford and like my home town of Wythenshawe it has a bad reputation. The last thing I would want is if the 3,000 or so die hard Reds fans were Salford hard nuts who hated Union!

Don't worry, there won't be any Salford fans there ;)

Seriously, Barton (when the footbridge is built) is across the water from Urmsterdam and the bit of Salford it's nearest is Eccles. I can't see much trouble. Might even improve your crowds, being a couple of junctions from Sale, but my money is on it improving Salford's crowds by a more impressive margin.

More to do with being young and British - up until a couple of years ago attributes that were likely to get you moved on from Wigan.

I’m pretty sure they aren’t being forced to spout it. Far more likely that they realise that they are being well paid and they see no benefit whatsoever in saying anything negative about their employer (including anything positive about a competitor)

Common sense really... I’m very complementary to my employer

Players like Tuqiri, Rogers and Sailor confirmed it was part of what they were required to do.

Par for the course.

As if the RFU doesn't do it too...
