I don't know why it's got that reputation really. It's probably due to people who've never watched it hearing that it's no holds barred fighting (which it isn't, and hasn't been since the early 90s) and assuming that that's what it will consist of. Even when there weren't really any rules though, the disciplined martial artists were still the most successful combatants. Now, there isn't a choice as technique, fitness and skill have to be ridiculously good for someone to even have a chance at making it.

Apparently, to generate some heat and maintain his Heel status, he said some nasty things about Canada, which provoked a blown out reaction. Reminiscent, somewhat, of Bret Hart's Anti-American angle in 1997. Makes you wonder the intellegance level of some people that attend Wrestling events in North America, to be honest, though I always thought Canadian fans were amongst the most knowledgable.

Was quite a refreshing PPV to see both Cena and Edge to lose their belts. And both of them eliminated first.

I expect Edge to move to Raw now he is Heavyweight champ though.
