Frustrating day for us, really. Wigan goal apparently well offside, hit the woodwork a few times and they should have apparently had a second yellow. Still, many have said we weren't good enough, the absence of Gerrard and then injury to Meireles really showed, allegedly.

United secured the title with that win you would have to say. They just look so comfortable. Strange season this, none of the clubs seem to be having a great campaign.

It is like this all around Europe. IMO, it's partly down to the post-world cup hangover. Look around Europe, other than Barca and maybe Madrid, very few of the traditional big teams in the 'big 5' leagues have had great seasons. Dortmund in Germany are well away with it this year, but they haven't constantly challenged for the title like others.

With this summer having just the Copa America, the bigger European teams will probably be back to top form next season, with the exception of Inter, who will gradually become worse.
