Hopeful long ball football ? What game was you watching ? Liverpool dont play long ball tactics, if we did we might be higher up the table. Theres alot of things you can call Liverpool for but long balls are not one of them. Liverpool absolutely dominated that game for 81 mins and if it wasent for Ben Foster, we'd be talking about another 5-0 thrashing at Anfield.

But thats been Liverpool all season, so dissapointing. 2 steps forward and 5 steps back. Looks like its the 2 Manchester clubs and the cockneys in europe next season.

And when will the Suaz be banned for diving? Another penalty cheated out of the ref tonight with a blatant dive. Good to see Gerrard miss, he knew a moral aberration was about to happen and missed it on purpose.

I know, I'm only joking. It's what all the regular Liverpool fans on here say about Everton whenever they lose. Good of you to come on and talk about it, I know a few LFC fans who won't be about tonight

The penalty decision was appalling....Suarez runs into a defender who was standing his ground, and then Suarez falls over - What is a defender supposed to do in that situation, simply allow the attacker a free run?

Even though it didn't affect the result, that ref should be struck off for a few weeks simply for that decision....Awful, awful, awful.

The reality is most players do, if not them all. Look at Yacob tonight for West Brom, talked about hard man who gets stuck in, yet the slightest touch and he was rolling around a number of times tonight. So frustrating. That is football these days, used to a foreign thing but English players are probably just as bad or worse these days.

On another note Pepe Reina as a top goalkeeper is finished. The guy as no reactions in him whatsoever. How he managed to not get anything at all on Lukakus shot is beyond me. Same with the Walcott strike the other week.

I'd defend Suarez there. The ref was 100% to blame for that joke of a decision. The only thing I'd blame Suarez for is being weak in the challenge. But as he's a Liverpool player ICGAF about that.

If West Brom decided to not play with a keeper it might have been 5-0. If West Brom played any keeper not suffering from a broken arm then you'd have got a 1, maybe 2 goal advantage.

There are times when keepers do play a blinder and distort games. Foster just saved shots he'd be expected to save, plus pulled off the good penalty save.

Can't believe we didn't let Agger go to City. His form this season has been absolutely shocking. He's by far our poorest defender, which says a lot considering we have Johnson and Enrique.

With Carragher retiring, I'd go as far to say that I'd prefer to see us with an entire new back line and goalkeeper next season. They never keep us in games and consistently cost us in games.

I think you could do an hour long compilation this season of Agger looking very wound up after we've conceded, or Pepe Reina looking around hopelessly as another one has snuck in, or Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique chasing shadows as another winger walks past them.
