TBH I agree with him that the FA are showing their hypocrisy when they insist on Rooney getting the maximum punishment when he's playing for United and the least punishment when he's playing for the FA.

It's just the Mancs' total refusal to accept that Rooney's swearing was crossing a line that shows them to be the deluded fools they are. But really, that could apply to most Mancs over this situation. If you're a Man Utd fan, that's probably how you'll feel.

Agreed. Their belief that the FA etc. are against them also tickles me up, they actually believe they should get away with everything they do. Seriously, moaning about Cantona's ban?

Some shocking refereeing in the Ireland Armenia game. Obviously the Irish will be ashamed to win like that, and pull out of the play offs in favour of the Armenians, or at the very least offer them a replay.

Nothing wrong with the goals though, it was the referee who fooked up.

I thought the Irish believed that if the ref misses something then the player should immediately stop and admit their guilt? Given their past outbursts on the matter I am appalled that they stood idly by as the Armenian goalie was wrongly sent off, when play should actually have already been stopped due to the heinous Irish handball.

Agreed. Had it been the other way round I'm sure we'd have been hearing about it for months if not years. It was a really poor decision by the referee which I didn't think ever looked like a handball, from pitch level he probably should've seen it for what it was.

It's been a while coming but it seems Liverpool are the first PL club to break ranks over TV rights. I guess it would give Stevie Me even more reasons to kiss the cameras if they get their way.
