You will only judge Ronaldo when he's played in Spain? Have a word! Robinho is more effective at international level? Come on man, Robinho plays with better players and against inferior opposition at international level.

Teams in Copa America are inferior? Interesting.

I referred to Ronaldo playing in Spain because, let's face it, he doesn't look happy. I also happen to think another league would be a good test because he often looks poor when playing in Europe against teams with decent defences. I remember when he was on top form and he came up against Milan. In both legs he didn't look a quality player. I don't think it was unreasionable to say I will wait for him to play in another league before judging him.

You're dismissal of Ribery has shown you up a bit on this thread fella. I know you're still a bit giddy, and are no doubt wearing a tea towel on your head as you type, but come back to the real world.

I don't think Ribery is garbage. Not at all. I just think in terms of ability he is not (yet) comparable to Robihno. He has played well in Germany but then the Bundesliga is weak. This year in particular, the quality has been poor.

Tea towel? Don't be daft. I'm far too bourgois for that. I use a silk scarf instead

I think Robben (when fit) is a better player.

He's done alright with injuries this year, and has been one of Madrid's stars.

not hard to stand out in this year's madrid team

Graeme Hick used to be top scorer in the County Championship on a regular basis. He was a flat-track bully.

I belive that outside of Brazil & Argentina, quality is thin on the ground in South America.

Ronaldo was outstanding in the champions league last year, and the top scorer in the competition. Without him, United would not've reached the final. I don't like the him as a person, and have seem my ar*e with him big time over the actions over the summer, but you surely cannot questions his quality.

I'd question that. The quality of the league German league is pretty good. Regardless, what Ribery has done for Bayern and France has, in my opinion, elevated him to the top echelon of world football.

I am not sure whether you're out purely for the wind up with this or not. If you are you've played a blinder, if not, you've surprised me as you often* talk a lot of sense.

I have honestly never seen a player in the Prem who has a better first touch. Berbatov is probably the next best in terms of first touch.

Very short-term memory you have there. Bergkamp, Henry, Zola, Gullit, Cantona, just off the top of my head. There have been some players with magical first touches in the recent past, inclusing some of the lesser-remembered names. Robinho is without doubt class, but I think perhaps you're building him up a shade as an almost all-time great, which he isn't (at least yet).

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
