Here we go - I'm not the Bet Maverick so not rubbish each way bets for me.
Had a discussion with a mate of mine last night about backing "value" selections ie. those that are bigger than they should be during which he said "you can't eat value", if that were the case then Tesco wouldn't make "Value Sandwiches" Value is the future
14:00 Silk Hall (e/w)
14:35 Or Jaune (e/w) - massive step up in class but has won his last three and goes on the ground
15:10 Tidal Bay (e/w) - shocking ride last time out and won round here before
15:45 Irish Raptor (e/w) - good course form including in this race 12 months ago and is around the 12/1 mark
15:45 Frankie Figg (e/w) - trainer has a good record at getting one ready for the big fences (Theatre Knight, Bewleys Berry and Bestofthebrownies have all run well over them) and at 40/1 he represents some value on his first attempt, the same goes for stablemate Ellerslie George at 50/1.
16:20 According To Dick (e/w) - point to point winner in Ireland last year and made an impressive start to his career in the UK at Cheltenham before going down when 8/13 at Exeter. Back on track of late and the step up in trip and ground are sure to suit.
16:55 Liberate (e/w) - very tentative selection as the race looks potentially wide open, the JP horse is the one to beat as he looks to have been plotted up for this but the price reflects that.
17:30 Liss Na Tintri (e/w) - very highly regarded mare of John Kiely's who was as short as 12/1 for the Champion Bumper prior to her racecourse debut, she let her followers down that day but got it right at the second time of asking and it may pay to follow her given the hard race the favourite had at Cheltenham.
Good luck all
