Seriously, Rooney has acted in character. A thick, arrogant, nob-end who thinks he's above the law/any regulations he has to abide by.
And yet, there are people who are queueing up to defend him....the 'best one' being..."Oh, it's Wayne, you get what you see. You wouldn't get the same person if you toned down his aggressive streak"
This oaf has had 9 years in the top division, so he knows what's expected of him, and how he should behave.
Would the England side miss him, who knows. His good England performances sine Euro 2004 can be counted on the fingers of one hand. And, after all, he's not exactly 'shown up' in England's last two tournaments, has he.
My wish (even though I've more chance of having a pooh in the Queen's handbag, than this happening) is that England go into each game with 2 centre forwards, centre forward number one scores a hat-trick in the first game. In the second game, centre forward number number two scores a hat-trick. In the third, they get a couple each. This will then make it impossible for Cappello to pick Rooney.
