Usmanov probably isn't that delighted at seeing Arsenal sitting behind Chelsea and Tottenham in the league. He's worth $18 billion. He's another Abramovich or Sheikh Whatever who wants to be spending his cash and seeing trophies being lifted.
Arsenal fans are robbed at the Emirates. Chelsea used to be priced way higher than Arsenal, but since their move they've pushed their tickets even higher than Chelsea.
The major question is why are Arsenal fans so stupid that they're willing to be fleeced to see Arsenal be also-rans when they could pay the same money to see them as an equal power to MU, CFC and MC? I know they want to claim the moral high ground of not being a billionaires plaything, but at the moment they are just a billionaires safe foreign investment. They are choosing to make an already insanely rich man get richer by capping their ambitions. The main reason that they aren't banging the drum for Usmanov to take them over is because they've bitched so much about Abramovich that they don't want to admit they were talking out of their arsenal.
As a Chelsea fan I want Kroenke owning Arsenal. I want them to have 25 years without winning a trophy. I think it will be brilliant if the first 25 years of the Emirates has no trophies at all paraded there.
