Theres 2 or 3 teams I just don't like and Spurs is one of them, never have liked them. Its not a club thing its just me. I got a bit giddy the other week when Fulham beat them in the cup!

no problem mate,it's up to you who you like or dislike - as a Spurs fan of 50 years the only team I can't get around to liking is the Villa ! don't know why ? it probably comes from all the years of chairman Doug Ellis who thought he was the bess knees - believe it or not I don't even mind the Gooners - funny old game innit ?
As i've said before the LUFC teams of days gone by were great and I still have a lot of respect for them.You lot deserve to be in the top division cos' you're a big club.

I didn't realise you were a fan maybe I wouldn't have been as harsh. They deserve to be where they are at the moment as they have a quality team its just the club though. West Ham often wind me up too, don't know why. I'm hoping Arsenal beat Barca tomorrow as I've always been more Madrid.

Cheers hopefully we'll get back there in the next couple of years. Playing in the cup against the big teams has give us a taste of the prem putting in good performances against Man U, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal so see what happens!

being brought up in the wilds of East Anglia the nearest 'big' team was Norwich (then midway down the second division with crowds of 5000 !) but all the kids had a 'main' team - I just tagged on to Spurs cos' they were the first team I recall seeing on tv (1961 FA Cup Final) - good old beeb in b/w of course.
My all time hero is Greavsie who really was a great player - ironically a good mate of mine played against him in the old first division in the sixties (he's a bit older than me) and played left back for Wolves and had to mark him - he reckons he ran rings round him and let him in to score two goals !
Spurs are an arrogant lot with a big chip on their shoulders cos' they know the Gooners are a much bigger club,and always will be...a bit like Man Utd & City
Love 'em or loath 'em Spurs always try to play attractive football.

Tough one but still Sinclair's for me. Breathtaking as it was (and this is not a criticism!) Bressan's was a bit more 'loopy', whereas I'm a fan of pure power. Sparky's v Spain us about as sweet a contact as you'll ever see.

As good as these goals are, they just don't compare to a pure volley. Zidane's vs. Leverkusen remains one of the finest I've seen, IMO, these overhead/bicycle kicks are nothing on that goal. Rooney's goal vs. Newcastle all those years back was better than the Citeh one, IMO.

Rooneys against the barcodes was a special goal if only for the fact he was still berating the ref as he hit the ball

Have a look at Hamit Alintop's volley against Kazakhstan. What a stunner!
