Also, Lincoln City skipper Gary Mills released after a serious knee injury. Bad times for the Gary Mills's of this world.

Yeah I really wish we had one of the worlds most dangerous strikers and the PL's leading goal scorer in our team like Bale. Some of you really are clueless.

Danish FA ban Bendtner for six months after he is caught drink-driving. Couldn't imagine the FA taking a stance like this.

Indeed, it seemed baffling to me. Worthington's record isn't all too bad, but I have no idea about his style.

Told the local paper he "prefers a 4-4-2, maybe a 4-4-1-1". Now, there's no reason why that can't involve good, clean passing, keeping the ball moving and all that - Man Utd seem to make a 4-4-2 work for them quite well, f'rinstance - but it sounds like the board are pandering to the most crashing of the bores that sit near me who took against pretty football and demanded something more direct with no due analysis of the issues at hand.

Bayern to pay £86m for Neymar according to SSN. Is he that good? He looked great early doors, but the last couple of times I've seen him, he did absolutely nothing.

Man Utd been on the receiving end of 2 shocking decisions over this tie now. They have a right to feel thoroughly aggrieved.

I agree r.e the decisions but the reason United wont go through is they aren't good enough in the centre if the park.

Not so sure about that. They were in charge until the sending off & but for a few great saves since could still have done it. They shut Alonso down brilliantly & Madrid didn't really threaten that much until they had the extra man.

The Nani sending off decided the tie. United would have won but for that.

I hate referees like that, so determined to have all the attention on himself. The way he strutted around like a peacock after it was ridiculous. There is just no common sense in football anymore, no rational thinking.

I hate United, but games like that leave a really bad taste in the mouth, you know there is an injustice happening. With all the betting/match fixing scandals going on, it does make you wonder just how much of it is real.
