Have you seen two players appeal to the referee over a meaningless throw-in in the middle of the pitch?
Have you seen players commit ridiculous, dangerous, nasty fouls and then berate the ref for having the temerity to give a free kick against them?
Have you seen players fall over at the slightest touch and act as if they've been hit by a truck?
The answer to all those questions is yes.
And you want to add bitching over every decision to the video ref on top of it?
FIFA are right, you are wrong. Adding in video decisions and after-match refereeing will just make the situation even worse.
(You want to deal in FACHTS but want to claim England were robbed of victory when they lost 2-1. Lose some weight Fat Boy Rafa.)
They
were robbed....look back through your own post even you said it....anyway the victory bit is nit-picking you get the point...the point is reducing cheating.
Well I would have to be blind not to see the extent of cheating in the game......but if you are prepared to leave it at the status quo ...because it might get messy....well I would suggest it's messy already.
I am not suggesting it goes to the ridiculous extent you are proposing...preposterously may I say.
The only time video evidence has to be brought into account during a game is;-
1 When a goal is scored.
While they are trotting back to restart...check the validity of the goal.
2 when a penalty is awarded...check for diving etc.
Leave the rest to the ref....
Review sendings-off in light of video evidence.
That would take seconds and might bring more accountability to the game.
This is what happens in games like Rugby League.
