Oh dear Andy Carroll, what was that? Most of the Liverpool build up was crap though, no plan B - pass to centre midfield, look for an overlap, let the fullback do the rest.

Very disappointing in the end. Grates me how we play decent football for 20 minutes, but if the ball doesn't go in, we cave and play like a pub team. One of the better teams would have persisted and seen the game out.

Enough chances to win but in the end we could easily have lost. Same old, same old.

Oh and Suarez, brilliant as he can be, is embarrasing at times. Starting to do my head in.

quite agree with all that tho' the annoying thing for me is that players like Suarez who have so much ability feel the need to try to con the refs !
he's too good a player to have to resort to that,so why do it ?

I know it's rife in football these days, so on the one hand it doesn't bother me, but Norwich turned up for a decent, honest game of football today and the only man on the pitch that wanted to throw himself around, play act and gesture to the ref was Suarez. It's embarrassing if I'm honest.

It was an excellent save, I agree.

To be honest I thought our midfield was poor. There was very little defensive cover (admittedly missing Lucas (didn't think I'd be saying that a couple of years back )) and structure or tempo to our game whatsoever. I think Adam has to take some of the responsibility for that. It's clear there's plenty of improvement needed. At the start of the season, I was expecting us to get 4th, now I think we might struggle.

Still, fair play to Norwich. Thought they played some decent stuff, and looked more composed on the ball than we did, at times.
