It's all starting to come unstuck at Liverpool, one emailer to talksport suggested that Kenny is not the option, and he's very bad tactically.... they're starting to see sense...
I know you're baiting pal, but Kenny can't physically put the ball in the net, which was basically what was required today. We should have been home and dry by half time, our problem is we haven't been clinical. If you're playing well and creating chances, there's really not much more the manager can do.
I've raised doubts about some of Kenny's signings (pretty much all of them), but the team isn't playing badly, we're just lacking the clinical touch at the moment. Things should eventually turn around, but Carroll is a big problem for us at the moment, not in a 'he's disruptive' way, more in the 'he doesn't fit in' way, he doesn't play to our strengths and we don't play to his. Will it be worth the persistence of trying to make him work when the progress made so far has been hugely limited? We're playing one of the most hopeless footballers ever over him (Kuyt) at the moment, it's clear things aren't right, but at £35m, you can't afford to just let him sit on the bench and hope he works out.
