Rodwell should be playing the 'Carsley role' IMO but that said Rodders is class on the ball whereas Nev, the less said the better, and we don't tend to use the holding midfieler to start moves, just break them up.
But don't you think that's because we havn't had a ball player in the 'Carsley role'? Carsley himself and Nev arn't exactly ball players they brake a move up and away it goes but I think if Rodwell plays that role then we have the complete defensive midfield player, he will brake moves up and he can distribute the ball and start a move not like Nev or Casley with a win the ball and knock it to Yobo to hoof a clearance.
I disagree on Neill, I like him for years we've lacked someone with agression and passion and he has this. He is better than Hibbert and will provide us with good cover. At this time in the season I think it's a great move, not often players of Neill quality come available. Unusually Prince, I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one
