Chorley have made the final of the Lancs trophy after beating Wigan Robin Park 5-0 in last nights semi final to set up a trip to the Reebok next month against either Kendal or Radcliffe Borough.With them looking good for a playoff place in the league it's been a better season than I thought it would be.

It's nice to see Fleetwood have some humility left over from their time as a non-league side. Let's just hope nothing ever goes wrong for you, eh?

All reliant on the munificence of one man. Any club paying players £2.5k a week in non-league football should have questions asked of them.

In some ways, I'm a bit sad to be leaving non-league football behind as I've had some bloody brilliant away days. But mainly, it's just good to be back in the league and not having to play bloody Luton again. Good luck Wrexham next season.

Dont believe everything you hear and before you ask, yes I am privvy to how much the players are on, down to the last pence and 2.5k is miles away from what Fleetwoods highest earner is on
