Don't get me wrong,he isn't the Favre that we all know but he is still good enough.

Your correct, all those teams I mentioned need a long-term QB to take over but with the lockout those who have drafted QB's (Titans- Locker) aren't going to have any time to prepare him to start straight away and it could do more damage than good to throw him to the lions (not Detroit!). Likewise those who have no QB aren't going to lose anything by taking a year on Favre, he'll hardly need alot of training to pick up the playbook, when there are no franchise QB's available on the free agent market. The only decent, yet still unproven QB, available is Kolb and the Eagles want way too much.

Anybody who hasn't registered for fantasy it's 3 weeks on sunday. Loads of time, just a reminder. I've done a team on ESPN as well. I'm used to their scoring system. I always p*ss my NBA, MLB fantasy leagues. Never won an NFL one yet.

8th Circuit rules in favour of the NFL, thereby giving them serious leverage. If they use it aggressively, expect it to derail negotiations.

I expect Conroy will be able to explain it to everyone in due course and how it can't possibly derail negotiations.

I've just read that on the NFL front page so we'll have to get someone but it might be Matt Hasselbeck in but to have Brett Favre as a Titan would be something but I think it is just not going to happen.

Hopefully this ruling brings a final outcome closer to actually happening. I've always thought, based on nothing, that the players would eventually fold, simply because there are too many competing interests within their own group.

I think he's referring to your habit of always "attempting" to challenge facts.

Mike Vrabel the best 'TE' in NFL history is retiring!

10 receptions (8 with NE,2 with KC),10 TD'd (8 with NE,2 with KC),all for just 14 yards

I know most teams had better players than Mike Vrabel and players that were noticed more for their play on the field but to us he was one of those players that contributed greatly to our team and was a great leader.

I like the defence we are assembling at the moment but I would love another player like Vrabel/Bruschi in their prime to be an extra veteran leader!

He is joining Ohio State as a LB coach and IMO I reckon he will make a pretty good coach, good luck Mike

Some nice comments made by James Harrison. I'd imagine he'll face a fine from his own team for it, and probably a league fine*.



*assuming thats possible during a lockout.
