Time for goaline technology Mr Blatter.

Had it been 2-2 at half time, we'd of been able to play the second half with a different mindset. Instead we have to chuck players forward to try and get the goal and ultimately we get caught by 2 very good German counter attacks.

Can't remember the last time Lampard 'carried' an England team. The two 'top' players you mentioned, along with Rooney and Gerrard have had a poor world cup even by Emile Heskey's standards.
Far too many people reading The Sun pre-tournament and getting their hopes up and genuinely expecting us to win the thing or get somewhere close to the final. It's similar to the rugby when we finish a season of 'fantastic, excellent, out of this world' Super League then get tonked by the Aussies and Kiwis and realise how far behind we really are... until Super League starts again and Bert and Ernie convince us all that we're watching the pinnacle of rugby week in, week out. Time to wake up I think.

The English team has reached one major final in the last 38 attempts. And Still they consider England to be a major challenger.

If Gerrard is a Left midfielder then i should be picked for the next world cup.

Gerrard had a pretty good World Cup.

Klose picked for Germany because he plays well for Germany yet only scored 3 goals for club.

And who are these players who play well for England but don't perform for their clubs? Heskey shouldn't have been in the team if you judge by Villa not picking him.

Some players play well for club but don't bring it internationally, Lampard as good as he is should never play for England.
