Now England are out i'm putting my support behind Holland.I think the winner will come from either Brazil,Argentina,Spain or Holland.Germany cant defend well enough to beat any of those 4.

I hope that a side that has never won the world cup...wins it now.
Although I can't help but admire the way Argentina have played....ably assisted by numbskulls tonight....
I think if nothing is done about this farce that teams should get together, like England and Mexico...and no doubt there may well be others and tell FIFA to change the rules or stuff it!
The problem being that it is all about MONEY...not principles.
Yet FIFA are not prepared to pay for a few cameras....when in effect they don't have to...since there are plenty at games such as these.
You can only take technology on a cost basis so far down the pyramid....but at the top of the pyramid..the World Cup...with the world looking on...you've got to!!

For professional football money isn't even remotely an issue but for the amatuer games the answer is simple have GOAL REFEREES and it's only a goal if the goal ref says it is. |

Sounds easy enough, but a lot of amateur leagues struggle to attract enough officials as it is. |

| They did try out extra officials, one at each end, in the Europa League, although chances are thats more down to UEFA, rather than FIFA. Platini seems a tad more willing to sort out this debate than Sepptic Bladder.
Did have an effect on one game I know of, at Goodison, ref gave a goal kick to AEK but the byline ref overruled him and gave a corner. 30 seconds later, 1-0.
Will that be considered for Rio 2014 one wonders  |

Capello's got to go,how much money have we wasted on him and Sven over the years.If a person as qualified as Capello can't get anything out of this lot of England players we might as well save some money and get a Hodgson or Redknapp to do the job for a lot less.
