Watched MITB on Monday night, very enjoyable PPV.
Some matches I couldn't get into (e.g. Ryback v Jericho and Cena v Henry, who I still wish they'd stop trying to get over after 17 years of failure!). However, the good far, far outweighed the bad. Both MITB matches were excellent IMO, highlights inc the pops for RVD, and Cody Rhodes, who is starting to perhaps show star potential.
However, I wouldn't be a wrestling fan if I didn't end on a moan.
So, am I the only one who thinks it's totally OTT for WWE to clear blood from wrestlers either during or straight after matches?
Okay, they're a PG company now, but FFS PPV's are probably mostly ordered by adults (and shown in the early hours over here obviously) so I really don't see what harm a little juice does, and actually in some cases I think it can increase the drama of a match, and / or add sympathy for a guy.
That aside though, I thoroughly enjoyed the show, and feel the company is taking some small positive steps forward after a lot of frustrating stop-start pushes for people.
