This is one I've been following closely.
Never got in the race last time at Royal Ascot (29 runners, three races in one that day).

A little dissappointing in the race before that but I'll be having some interest ew at 14's.

MONT RAS.3.55.york.. since being gelded has been ripping it up on the gallops and highly rated by the yarsd as one of the best

KOOL HENRY.5.00.york consistant sort should go well again

DOTTY DARROCH.8.40. hamilton still ahead of the handicapper and expected to follow up but BOUNDLESS SPIRIT in same race been given a massive chance, think they have been messing about with it

Don't fancy much today, Star Witness would be my tentative selection for the July Cup, and Dick Turpin should be capable of bouncing back at Ascot. The ground will be much more suitable than Lockinge day, where Hughesie said he found (on Canford Cliffs) the ground was riding much faster than the reported gd-firm. Big danger is the highly progressive Side Glance, who may still be on the upgrade and is at home whatever the ground is like.

Just had a few quid on Enrys Ajaan (25's ew) in the 2.40 at York.

Why has he still got this 7 year old in training?

Having a pound E/W on Ghostwriting. Think Fort Bastion already wants further than 7f TBH.


Ghostwriting ran about as well as the favourite.

Interesting AOB has traveled over when he only has one horse running, Oracle. Maybe worth a poke at 25s ew.


Just place laid Vulcanite, might just see how far I can get laying off my original tenner. No big urges to back anything ATM, will see how the afternoon goes. Hannons horse at Slisbury (615) looks a cert but have no idea how competent the apprentice riding him (Ryan Powell) is.

I would hazard a guess at, the owners are in it to see their horse run and not for the money.

Or, like The Tatling, he thrives on racing.

Plus, third in the Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot last time is worth perceivering with.

He's owned by the Niarchos family mate.
They've been big players in the owning/breeder stakes (I mean as big as the Arabs) for the last 30 years, especially in France. (Miesque, Bago).

Horse needs putting out to grass now.
