Its a tricky one. But Terry has admitted making the alleged comments, he's just arguing about the context. Even if you accept his version of events its questionable whether it gets him entirely off the hook. Until its confirmed that there was an "innocent" context to the remarks, it might be enough to justify not picking him pending the outcome of the investigation.

Thought it was a nice yesterday for United to name a stand after Fergie. Quite touching actually. I suppose it can also serve as a bookend to an era too
I got 88 on the goal scorers game, forgot some obvious ones and guessed people I thought would be nowhere near but will into the second column.
On real football, pretty worried if we don't lose Nigel Pearson to moneybags Leicester then he'll get the next Premier League job that comes up, building something pretty special at City so I hope we give him a nice long contract!
Interesting comment by Suarez "I called him something that his team mates at Manchester United call him". I had assumed that his defense would have been to deny saying anything.
The suggestion that he could be in trouble for speaking out seems bizarre, surely everyone has the right to speak out to protect their reputation?

People fail to take notice of the fixtures that have been played by both teams.
Man United have played -
Liverpool City Spurs Arsenal Chelsea Spurs Everton (a) Stoke (a)
These are what you would class as tough games
Man City have played
Spurs (a) United(a)
The fixture list will even out table soon enough. City have played Wigan, Villa, Wolves, QPR, Everton (h) Swansea. A long way to go yet.
A lot of teams beat us, do a lap of honour and don't stop running. They live too long on one good result. I remember Jimmy Adamson crowing after Burnley had beaten us once and that his players were in a different league. At the end of the season they were.

This post is someone clutching at straws. Utd are not out of it but City with the one exception of a daft 20 minutes at Fulham have looked like champions far more than chelsea last season who also started well.
City have Newcastle (h), Liverpool (a), Norwich (h) Chelsea (a) and Arsenal (h) coming up. With CL games against Napoli (a) and Bayern (h) in amongst. Should be able to make a fair assessment of how things stand after that lot.

Totally agree. Going to be alot of sides taking points off each other around the top. Teams like Man United, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea will all be tricky.
Sad to hear about the passing of Burnley legend Jimmy Adamson. League Championship-winning captain, Footballer of the Year, England 66 squad member and guided his Clarets back to the First Division as manager in 1973.
