I will be looking forward to the figures.....interestingly barb had no figures for we Oct 2nd for ITV for over 2 weeks after the end of that week.....I wonder what the hold up was on getting then confirmed>? Maybe the IRB have their spies in BARB as well eh 
Or maybe....just maybe, the bit below as published on the BARB site explains it....

But the figures for the w/e 16th of October have already been published on the BARB site with no mention of the Wales vs. France game for the top 30 on ITV1? One RWC game for the w/e the 9th is already in the BARB figures so not sure why we will have to wait the six weeks this time and not last
With regards to the transmission logs... why would those be an issue when we are talking about a live sporting event, the Wales vs. France game actually took place when it was advertised didn’t it? |

Ok so I will hold my hands up the figures I get to see are as follows ave of 4.3 m peak of 6.8 at 10.40am.
The good news is for the Eng v Wal league game that was the most watch programme at the time. Ave of 1.3 peak of 1.6

I don't see Edwards being establishment enough to work with the blazers that run the RFU. |

That's just an outdated stereotype though, isn't it? I thought the RFU had long since moved away from the classist old boys brigade that their supporters and indeed themselves worked so hard to deny existed in the first place. |

By establishment I wasn't so much meaning Edwards isn't of the right social standing or went to the right school, more that he hasn't been part of the RFU establishment in the same way the likes of Johnston, Woodward, Andy Robinson, Brian Ashton, Dick Best etc were. |
