EE and the others are right about Bale, he's been nowhere near as consistent as Nasri or Vidic. I'm not overly sure what his 'thing' is although when is on form, he is difficult to stop. He also had some big games on big occasions which helped his press.

We've really struggled with Bale. But TBH I think that's more down to our defensive frailty than anything Bale has done. I think Bale will struggle next season when sides have figured out how to play against him.

Fergie went way beyond what Dalgleish did. Dalgleish's moans were comparable to Martinez at the weekend. Fergie threw all the toys out of the pram and called the ref a cheat or incompetent.

If a referee makes a bad decision why can't managers say anything about it? I can understand the FA getting a bit uppity about anyone saying they are unfair (as Ferguson hinted at) but for them to back referees over every single decision is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as Paul Hart being given another manager's job. Luckiest man ever to be involved in the game. An atrocious manager and I can more or less guarantee he won't be at Swindon in 18 months time.
