Was my EW pick in the Gold Cup coming 7th and yet again the trainer moaned about the ground, he's said as long as the rain doesn't come down in buckets he can't moan this time.

Can get involved in this and I couldn't leave it at 10s for this after backing it in Gold Cup.

And you didn't get on at that price?

He played well, anything under par today is a good score. A lot of the fancied players have struggled and finished over par.

Newbury 3.40 B Fifty Two @ 8/1 EW

Has won 2 races this season the best when beating Lilbourne Lad who since has won a Listed race impressive and then a Group 2 race, B Fifty Two came a decent 6th in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot should have at least place claims.

Ikeda was -2 at lunchtime then hits 7 on par 4 I finish work to find him -3 through 14 now he's on par.

Bogey on 15, 16 and 17 mate. Still even if he finishes even he's well in with a shout over the weekend.
