Bit of racism creeping back into football, even if both of these players are innocent, with Sammy Ameobi and Frazier Campbell getting racist abuse on Twitter. As much as I don't like Campbell (probably more than anyone else currently playing aside from Bullard), calling him what he was called is out of order.

The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollocking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
His face is weather beaten.
He wears a hooded sash,
With a silver hat about his head,
And a bristling black mustache.
He growls as he storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold.
The Autumn Wind is a raider,
Pillaging just for fun.
He'll knock you 'round and upside down,
And laugh when he's conquered and won. |
It's a racial slur, no matter which way people try and disguise it, not a scene from a monty python sketch. Nothing will happen to him though, that I guarantee. F.A have no balls.

I'm sure Glen Johnson can confirm that Suarez calls him the 'N' word all the time then, if it's just banter. Let's keep racism in football. That's the message the F.A will be sending out if nothing is done.
