Dount count on the Yankees to win the AL East for for next few years atleast because every team in that division has improved especially Tampa Bay and the only team to have gone down hill are the Yankees.
If Boston did not have such a bad away record then they would have been out of sight by now and even with there recent dip in form there still 5 and a half games ahead of the Yankees which is pretty impressive but in my opinion,if the Yankees continue their poor form by their own high standards then i really can see Toronto finishing 2nd which has been a long time coming for them.

It's great fun to be a cubs fan this year. They are finding all sorts off ways to win games. They were getting beat 8-0 by the rockies yesterday and came back to win 10-9.

They are a great 24-8 at home and not to shabby on the road 10-13. I am trying to not get too carried away, but hoping that after 100 years they could win the world series.

I have started stashing some cash the the wife does not know about incase I need a quick flight to Chicago during October half term.

The cubs employ marksmen and he will be shot should he get within 500yds of Wrigley  not that the marksmen will be needed as the inhabitants of wrigleyville would take care of him

Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

Hopefully I'll get to see the lad in action in a few weeks when inter-league play starts and the Reds come to TO.

Excellent result for the Blue Jays last night at Yankee Stadium. Not the game Joba would have hoped for in his first outting as as starter. It is funny listening to those Yankees 'fans' booing their own team. I'm surprised Hawkins came out of the bullpen to pitch with the reception he got from his own fans. I'd have told them where to shove it.
