Mate, I don't want to get into a debate about the poster but I had to say that I am surprised you look at it that way.

To be honest, I do find it interesting that the fans of Everton, Spurs and Villa seem to be the ones who spout more bile about our luck / lottery win than supporters of any other club. A coincidence?

What was amusing was that Fergie had, last season, ticked off Benitez for making similar comments about Everton.

I know it's a few days too late but the rumours about Anderson and Carrick are pretty funny.

I can't believe the press is that bored ATM that they have resulted in making up stories that are so ridiculous to suggest that Fergie would sell Carrick to Liverpool for £10million.

I think the bollo*kings that both have received about their form, or lack of, will be the kick up the ar$e they both needed. I can't wait to see Anderson to rip Arsenal a new hole on Saturday. :)

I honestly don't know of too many Evertonians that are spouting about your money, we would simply love to have a billionaire backer but unfortunately we don't and have too make do. As for Spurs and Villa well Randy Lerner has a good few bob and they've not been short for a few years and Spurs are backed by a man with plenty of money, I can't think of his name off hand and I don't mean Levy, there another guy on the board very very well off, so I can't say I have heard too many Spurs and Villa fans mouthing off.

End of an era.

He's made a spectacle of himself at times with the own goals and the red cards but he's been a magnificent servent of the club.

There are no doubts in my mind that we would have been relegated had it not been for him in 2006 and all the resultant finance that has come our way probably never would have done if we had gone down then.

I hope the part he played in the recent part of our history never gets forgotten. Four Player of the Year Awards on the spin showed what everyone thought of him.

Well at least you admit it. Fair play.

Spurs fans are really sore about us coming into money. I know you shouldn't take what you read on forums as the 'view of the fans', but they have certainly developed a strong dislike of us since we were taken over. They think our ostentatious wealth is vulgar. Years ago I remember Spurs fans waving money at City fans during a game. Funny how things change.

Spurs are backed by a man with plenty of money, I can't think of his name off hand and I don't mean Levy, there another guy on the board very very well off, so I can't say I have heard too many Spurs and Villa fans mouthing off.

Joe Lewis, although my understanding is that Daniel Levy, who was appointed by Lewis, has bought a considerable amount of shares. The club is listed so the raising of financial capital is a tad more complicated. Lewis is wealthy but he is nowhere near the level of Abrahimovich in terms of wealth. Neither is Randy Lerner.

Same here.

I would have liked him to stay on at the club as a squad player, and I imagine Hughes would be of the same opinion. I can only assume that Dunne stated he wanted to leave as he wants to be a first team regular.

I said to a mate a few weeks ago, that if we win another trophy again, it would be great if Dunne was there to collect it (Joan Gamper Trophy not included).

I'm sure he will get a round of applause from City fans at CoM and Villa Park this season.
