LOVE UNITED - HATE GLAZER

"DEBT IS THE ROAD TO RUIN" - David Gill, August 2004

Malcolm Glazer - Forever in your DEBT

Yeah people moved down to block the CES guys getting to the banner and snatching it like last week, good to see one of the normal stewards near me singing along to 'Glazer's gonna die' as well! Hopefully more green and gold at games over the next few weeks.

Roll on Wednesday night!

A few fans were kicked out early on the game according to my mate. However, once more and more anti-Glazer banners were put up, they decided to give it up as a bad job.

Today at Carrington around 20 fans turned up with anti-Glazer stuff, they got thumbs up from players, including Neville, and Clayton Blackmore who turned up. GMP were also there, but didn't interfere with the protestors. Owen Hargreaves apparantly turned up very late, so is obviously not training with the rest of the squad yet.

White hot atmosphere on wednesday, be interesting o see both team selections. Will Fergie play 2 up top? WIll Mancini try and keep what he's got or will they have a go?

VDS

Rafael Rio Evans Evra

Valencia Carrick Fletcher Giggs

Berbatov Rooney

That'll be the team IMO. Would like to see Nani and Anderson play, but can't see Fergie doing it.

Blimey. I thought most supporters of the usual cartel were ignorant of anything outside the Premier League, but not to even look down to the lower part of the top half of the league..... Jeebus.

He's the 18 year old who scored a cracking own goal for Fulham on his debut the other week wasn't he?

I've heard of his name but I've not seen him play yet. He seems to have come from nowhere, I mean, you get players like Gary Cahill who've performed well for a few years now, but this Smalling I've seen nothing of, yet he's got United and Arsenal fighting for him!

I'm not ignorant of anything outside the league, either, I prefer watching foreign football over most English football other than Liverpool.

It was reported over the weekend that Utd and Arsenal were bidding around £7/8m for him. Thinkhe played a game the other week for Fulham but not really seen much of him, he must be highly rated to have Fergie and Wenger both after him?

He's the young, mobile defender you asked about to play alongside Chiellini.

Expect a £20-25m bid landing at Old Trafford for the Serbian monster any time.

I wonder what this signing means for Brown / Evans, they've both shown recently that they can't play together but are more than adequate stand-ins when paired with one of Rio / Vida.

It's good to see that Rooney has come out and said he wants to stay at United.
