This is a fantastic night for football. First the horrible facist Luis Suarez is charged with racist abuse and Sebb Blatter comes out with a staggering declaration of ignorance that will surely see him forced out of football. The media pressure he will get will be incredible.

Sad to see Liverpool blindly supporting a racist however. I thought they had more class than that.

They'd defend child abuse, if one of the offenders was a Liverpool player. And a week later when an opponent was charged with child abuse they'd be at the front of the lynch mob.

Possibly. Do you not think he's overstepped the political correctness line? His comments appear to play down and condone racism in football, as well as denying it exists in the first place. They really are giving themselves a bad name. Their defense of Steven Gerrard after his brutal assault was bad enough, but this is worse.

It will all be cleared up and Suarez will be innocent. There was no evidence on Sky to prove it and Luis's word will be more than enough. Still, this is classic FA idiocy, they will charge Suarez for alleged comments with no proof, yet will leave Terry to be dealt with by the met and hide behind that.
