Can't say I'm convinced by the booking of Joseph on St Nicholas Abbey for Saturday. Colm O'Donoghue has rides at Ascot that afternoon, and surely Seamus Heffernan would be available too. Fallon is up at York, which was a possible outside chance, but he's riding for Cumani so wherever Luca wants him is where he'll be. Smullen would've been my choice, FWIW.Strange one.
Just topped up same stake again on Famous Name @ 4/7. Don't think Dunboyne Express is going to fulfill what he showed at two and FN has the beating of Jan Vermeer, 6l last time out off same weights. FN has won umpteen similar races on this sort of ground, whereas Prendergast reckons Dunboyne wants ground on the soft side of good, tonights its good to firm.
